Winner 2018 Queens Award for Voluntary Service
We celebrate our volunteers and thank the hundreds of dedicated supporters who have helped us deliver six festivals, outreach programs and opportunities for our artists since 2010.
Postponement of the ACP Art Couture Festival 2018
As part of our fabulous ACP community we just wanted to up date you of our current situation.
We are so grateful to everyone past and present who has contributed to the ACP magic .This year we have had a constant stream of enquiries from people wishing to get involved in some way. It seems that there remains a thirst to be involved in this wildly creative and unique event, and we are very aware that without this enthusiasm ACP would simply not retain it’s buzz.
We are very grateful to the people of Painswick for their support and forbearance over the last 8 years. However in order for the Festival to be sustainable we are seeking to secure a local magical venue in or close to Painswick, that is both ticketable and can accommodate a capacity of around 2,000 people. Should you have any suggestions can you please get in touch via our e mail below.
Despite our very best efforts to secure a new venue for the festival, we have been unable to navigate the process in sufficient time. As you can imagine producing an event of this calibre is quite a feat and as time has gone on we have had to accept that it is now not possible, to deliver an event this year, worthy of the outstanding creations produced, without a location secured.
It is with a very heavy heart that we have to postpone this year’s ACP festival to 2019.
The Trustees and Partners are committed to producing a Festival to remember, predicated on finding the ideal location and hope to have a plan outlined in Autumn 2018.
ACP continues to champion excellence in the arts and will be supporting some local schools with their wearable art curriculum this Spring. Could we ask that any potential entrants keep the themes and any creations they may have started on hold and check in with us through our website or social media. The charity will continue to reward creativity through work placements and prize giving and looks forward to coming back with a bang in 2019!
Thank you for your understanding , and although the gallery is now closed please do contact us on email@example.com if you have queries or concerns , or want to get involved .
