Evie’s inspiration for her outfit was her pet budgie, Tinker, and so she decided to focus on the theme ‘Flight’. She was inspired by the way birds fly through the air and on the wind, captivating her. The key materials in her gorgeous piece were leather, wool, satin, cotton, plastic, willow, linen, and many more recycled elements.
During the construction of her work, Evie had also visited the Bird’s Eye View workshop at the Museum in the Park in Stroud where she learnt about the structure of bird wings. She has attended every ACP festival and is flabbergasted at the talent. Even though she is only eleven, she has lots of enthusiasm and creativity and wishes to be a great designer when she is older.
